Tekashi 6ix9ine, the rainbow-haired rapper, was ambushed and battered by a group of assailants in a Florida gym. According to his lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, suffered facial injuries and bruises after the attack in the gym’s bathroom on Tuesday, March 21. Emergency services rushed to the scene and took the rapper to the hospital in an ambulance. The alleged attack happened both inside and outside the gym’s sauna, with three or four men reportedly attacking 6ix9ine, who tried to defend himself but was overpowered. The attackers fled the scene after the employees intervened, said Lazzaro, as he confirmed the news to TMZ. It is not yet known whether 6ix9ine remains hospitalized. Hernandez was released from federal prison in April 2020, and his lawyer plans to provide protection for him following the incident.
Despite his run-in with the attackers, 6ix9ine has been making headlines in the music industry. In the past year, he has released some of his hottest tracks, including “GINÉ” and “ZAZA.” These tracks came after his second album, “TattleTales,” which featured bangers like “Gooba,”“Trollz,” “Yaya,” and “Punani.” With his music career taking off, Hernandez will undoubtedly focus on healing and keeping himself safe after the brutal attack.
