Internationally acclaimed artist Faouzia releases ‘La La La‘, a vibrant new single marking the start of her ‘Doll Summer’ era.
Moroccan-Canadian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Faouzia is heralding the start of her new era, ‘Doll Summer’, with the release of her dynamic new single ‘La La La’. The song, which showcases the striking new visual imagery of ‘Doll Summer’, is a testament to Faouzia’s musical prowess.
Faouzia explains the inspiration behind ‘La La La’, saying, “‘I love you’ sounds like ‘la la la’. There have been times in my life when people have overstepped boundaries and apologies start to sound like excuses. Once that line is crossed, everything you say starts to sound insincere. So, it’s better to drown it out – la la la.”
‘La La La’ follows a series of impressive dance-pop tracks including ‘Don’t Call Me’ and ‘Plastic Therapy’, both produced by Ryan McMahon (Marina, Addison Rae). Faouzia also recently released ‘Now Or Never’ with Martin Solveig.
Earlier this year, Faouzia released ‘I’m Blue’, a haunting rendition of Eiffel 65’s worldwide #1 hit, ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee)’. The track, which was featured in the popular Netflix series, ‘Red Rose’, has garnered millions of worldwide streams and close to 5M video views on YouTube.
Having collaborated with renowned artists like John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and David Guetta, Faouzia has been named an ‘Artist to Watch’ by Variety, Entertainment Weekly, and PEOPLE Magazine, and a ‘Style Star to Watch’ by Vogue. With over 1.1B global streams and a combined social reach of over 11M followers, Faouzia has firmly established herself as an artist to watch.
